This Canadian-bred apricot has revolutionised the growing of apricots in the UK. It's a self-fertile apricot forming a tidy, compact tree, producing very large, juicy, intensely flavoured apricots with a strong red blush on succulent orange flesh. These will ripen around the middle of August. Grown on Montclaire rootstock, which gives a heavily cropping, medium-sized tree of 2.7-3m (9-10').
